Learning to fly with WWI Royal Flying Corps pilot George Lockhart Piercy Henderson (1888-1930).
Henderson was a dispatch rider during the war and later became a Squadron Commander in the RFC. He won a Military Cross and a Air Force Cross. He went on to found the Henderson School of Flying at Brooklands Aerodrome. He died in the Meopham Air Disaster of July 1930.
Includes monochrome images and diagrams/illustrations.
