A book on the Lockheed Hudson aircraft, that operated with distinction over battlefronts in all five continents.
It was the first American aircraft to enter into service with the RAF. A total of 24 U-boats were lost to the enemy through its activity. At the end of the war in Europe the Hudson was still required, this time as a mercy aircraft, flying home released former prisoners-of-war.
