ABOUT
In the whole of the Second World War only two men succeeded in returning to operational flying after losing both legs in flying accidents. One was Colin Hodgkinson whose very different but no-less-remarkable and courageous story is told for the first time in this book.
Hodgkinson joined Fleet Air Arm and transferred to the RAF where he flew Spitfires, joined a famous wing and was in constant action against the enemy for 11 months until he crash-landed in occupied France and was made a POW.
Illustrated monochrome images, portrait drawing on title page.
