The two volumes of Eagle's Trees and Shrubs were universally acclaimed and have become established as New Zealand classics.

Volume 1: Audrey Eagle painted 228 species collected from all over the New Zealand botanical region and covering all the genera of New Zealand trees and shrubs. The colour paintings, reproduced about life size, show the twig, leaves, flowers and fruit or nut. In some cases, enlarged paintings of individual blooms are included to emphasize botanical details. The botanical notes are succinct, clear and methodical.

Volume 2: Includes more than 400 colour paintings, Audrey Eagle completed the illustration of all species (and most subspecies) of New Zealand trees and shrubs.

Both illustrated throughout with colour drawings, includes maps.

CONDITION
Immaculate, near with with only light shelf wear/marks on covers and page edges. Images depict all need to know detail.
