ABOUT
Story of 73 Squadron which fought with overwhelming success in the Battle for France in 1939-40. Inc many references to its most famous son, the New Zealander Cobber Kain.
In peace time the Hawker Hurricane was the pride of the Royal Air Force. In wartime it has become the envy of every Air Force in the world. With a fuel of 87 octane value and a two-bladed, fixed-pitched air screw, the Hurricane has a maximum speed of 350 miles an hour at 17,500 feet and can climb up 20,000 feet in nine minutes.
