A gripping memoir by one of the highest scoring British fighter aces of the First World War, James McCudden, VC. A detailed day-to-day account and covers five years in the Royal Flying Corps 1913-18.
James McCudden was a WWI pilot with 50 kills when he was appointed CO of the 60th Squadron, but was killed in a flying accident before he took command.
