Will Lawson (1876 -1957), a prolific "bush poet" and novelist. He was a significant figure in the Sydney "Bohemian" literary scene of the 1930s and 40s. Though born in England, he spent most of his life in Australia and New Zealand, crossing the Tasman Sea over 30 times.
