Elsie Morton was a prolific NZ writer through the mid-1900s and this booklet is now scarce. It covers her rambles in the beautiful and isolated Fiordland of the Deep South including travel by boat on lake and sound, the waterfalls and mountains of the famed Milford Track and the birds and vegetation of the region, as well as the character she met on her travels.
