His book Gallipoli, written at white heat a few months after the Allied withdrawal, is a classic. His masterly description of the campaign was one of the first to tell of the events that made ANZAC soldiers famous all over the world.

CONDITION
Excellent original condition for age, light wear on board covers, binding tight with repairs to spine, pages generally clean and unmarked with light foxing. Images depict all need to know detail.
