ABOUT
New Zealand All Black rugby history.
The All Blacks was a name bestowed on the 1905 New Zealand Rugby team by James Buttery, the Rugby correspondent of the Daily Mail in London. It was a simple appellation coined because of the colour of the uniform - black jersey, black shorts, black stockings, black boots, even black belts and black knee and ankle bands. The name endured.
Illustrated throughout with monochrome images.
CONDITION
Excellent with wear/repairs on dust jacket, marks on end papers and page edges, otherwise clean, no stamps or inscriptions. Images depict all need to know detail.
