Biography of Rex Forrester, New Zealand bushman and hunter since the early age of twelve, and went into the safari business in 1956.
After fourteen years experience as Government employed and independent deer hunter, he has been conducting sporting tours for scores of shooters and fishermen from Australia, Britain, Europe, and the United States.
These whirlwind tours left Rex with little time for writing, so he teamed up with journalist Neil Illingworth. Half the book deals with Rex Forrester's hunting apprenticeship, the latter half describes the safari business from the inside.
Illustrated numerous monochrome images, maps on end papers.
