ABOUT
Revised edition of a foundational classic in kiwi outdoor literature, written by legendary professional hunting guide Rex Forrester alongside journalist Neil Illingworth.
Delivers a complete masterclass for stalking the New Zealand bush. Moving beyond simple storytelling, it acts as a premier reference manual covering thirteen big-game species—from alpine Thar and Chamois to elusive Sika and high-country Red stags.
Functions as the ultimate how-to blueprint and complete overview for a successful backcountry expedition. Forrester draws from his deep wealth of knowledge as an official government deer culler and pioneering commercial safari guide.
Illustrated with monochrome images, maps on end papers.
