Details Gerbault's account of solo sailing in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, on 'The Firescrest' during 1924-1929.
The voyage included sailing around Bermuda, Panama, Galapagos, Mangareva, Marquesas, Tahiti, Coral Sea, Indian Ocean, Arafura Sea, Cape of Good Hope, South Atlantic.
Eventually the solo circumnavigation of the world ended in Cherbourg Harbor in May 1929.
