ABOUT
The Story of the German Frogmen and Midget Submarines. Much on Biebers.
This Kreigsmarine special force was formed in 1944 to operate midget submarines ('beavers') and explosive motor craft ('lentils'). It proved modestly successful in sinking Allied shipping, but also carried our numerous raids on bridges (notably Nijmegen before MARKET-GARDEN) and other strategic targets. Heye was formerly Admiral of the Force.
Illustrated with monochrome images, cutaway diagrams on end papers.

Immaculate with light wear on dust jacket, pages near new. Images depict all need to know detail.
