ABOUT
Biography of William Larnach, one of New Zealand's enduring historical figures.
The Dunedin businessman and politician who built the amazing Larnach Castle on the Otago Peninsula in the nineteenth century - still one of Dunedin's foremost tourist attractions. Enduring not only because of the monument he built, but also because of the many scandals in which he was involved, including his own eventual demise when after a busy life in business and politics, he shot himself in Parliament Buildings in 1898.
Illustrated with monochrome images.
