Thomas C. Williams, a son of the missionary Henry and part owner of Brancepeth station, made the Māori claim of injustice in the Manawatu purchase very much one of his causes. The Ngatiraukawa tribe had traditional bases in Waikato, Taupo, the Manawatu and Horowhenua regions.

Tidy with marks/repairs on covers, pages otherwise intact but with some marks and curling/damage on corners, binding intact with repairs to taped up spine. Images depict all need to know detail.
