Biography of Shelia Horton.
Born in Kenya, she married Ian Horton whose family owned the New Zealand Herald, moving to Auckland in 1935. Whilst raising a family she became actively involved in community services including Vice-President of the Plunket Society, and as an Auckland City Councilor.
Illustrated with monochrome images.
