ABOUT
Never in the history of New Zealand law have two people accused of murder gone to trial on the same charge three times to finally walk away innocent.
In February 1989 the body of cricket umpire Peter Plumley Walker was found floating below the Huka Falls with wrists and ankles bound. Police knew of his deviant sex life and suspected he had been murdered, but by whom and where?
Within a fortnight a teenage girl who listed her profession as dominatrix had been arrested, and New Zealanders had a whole new range of terms such as B&D and Golden Showers to add to their vocabularies.
It is a story of cover-ups, lies and fudged evidence unparalleled since the time of Arthur Alan Thomas.
Includes monochrome images.
