William Anderson did not set foot in Fiordland until 1950 when he handed over his Southland farm to his sons, and with the help of his wife May and got a job running the Quintin Huts on the Milford Track and pioneered new tracks from Quintin.
This is a history and a stirring tale, to the opening of a hotel at Milford and the modem era of airstrips, helicopters, and real home comforts along the Milford Track.
