ABOUT
An admiring biography of Theodore Roosevelt, focusing on his energy, character, and influence rather than a strict chronological biography.
He highlights Roosevelt’s forceful personality, reforming zeal, and international presence, presenting him as a uniquely vigorous figure in modern politics. The book blends anecdote, interpretation, and personal assessment, emphasising Roosevelt’s leadership style, intellectual range, and moral conviction.
It reads as a spirited tribute to a statesman MacKenzie saw as larger than life.
