ABOUT
An exceptional, rare window into the legendary shikar expeditions of colonial India.
Major-General Nigel Woodyatt delivers a sweeping, historically vital chronicle spanning forty years of jungle woodcraft and big-game hunting. First published in 1923, this magnificent volume tracks through the untamed wilderness of the Indian subcontinent, placing readers directly on the firing line against charging tigers, elusive panthers, and formidable mountain bears.
Melding military grit with the high-stakes thrill of the traditional shikar, it remains an incredibly scarce, highly prized centerpiece for collectors of elite imperial history and vintage global sporting lore.
Illustrated throughout with monochrome images.
