Frank Wightman was the reclusive yachtsman about whom Lawrence Green's book, A Giant in Hiding, was written.
The Author built the Wylo, a 34ft yawl and sailed in 1947 from Langebaan Lagoon, across the South Atlantic, to South America and up to the Caribbean.
This book is an account of his subsequent travels on Wylo from Trinidad, through the Caribbean Islands to Miami, thence to Baltimore, through the inland waterways.
Includes monochrome images, maps on end papers, portrait on title page.
CONDITION
Excellent with wear on dust jacket and faint marks on end papers, spotting on page edges, otherwise clean. Images depict all need to know detail.
