ABOUT
This complete reference book contains detailed and uniform descriptions of the birds of New Zealand including those birds naturalised and also those extinct.
This is the only complete reference book on the subject, and no other volume approaches it in providing such a wealth of reliable and interesting information. The illustrations show the great majority of the birds described. It summarizes our present knowledge of the birds of New Zealand, maintaining a proper balance between technical data on the one hand, and distribution, ecology, and general habitat on the other.
Illustrated with six colour plates and over 200 other Illustrations.
