ABOUT
A pictorial journey through New Zealand architecture and scenery by prominent New Zealand illustrator and writer Don Donovan and fashion/landscape photographer Euan Sarginson.
The book documents an extensive, unvarnished journey across the length and breadth of New Zealand. Instead of capturing pristine, curated tourist landscapes, the authors deliberately sought out the overlooked, decaying, and temporary essence of Kiwi architecture and culture.
The imagery heavily highlights crumbling brick, rusting corrugated iron roofs, peeling paint, faded town signwriting, pompous facades, simple colonial dwellings, and rural sheds.
Illustrated throughout with monochrome and colour images and drawings.
