Vintage edition of the The Auckland Sun newspaper from 96+ years ago.
The Sun Auckland was an independent newspaper popular with Aucklanders but facing challenges from the Depression, and it was eventually bought by New Zealand Newspapers Ltd (publishers of the Auckland Star) in 1930, shortly after it started publication in 1927.
Full of Kiwi nostalgia - these old newspapers take you back in time to the current affairs of the day and how life was in New Zealand. They include many old and amusing vintage adverts, and especially interesting is remembering how low-tech society was and how little things used to cost.
CONDITION
Excellent - clean and intact with light wear/marks on outer pages covers, damage to top corner. Images depict all need to know detail.
