ABOUT
A highly regarded fly-fishing collection written by the prominent New Zealand angling author and commentator John Parsons (1926–2014).
The book is arranged chronologically month-by-month from January to December. It details Parsons' lifetime love affair with fly-fishing, dispensing years of personal anecdotes, technical stream tactics, and reflections on the insects, wildlife, and changing seasons of New Zealand's wilderness.
Beyond general stream tactics, the volume compiles a diverse potpourri of historic angling lore, book collecting insights, and an analytical essay analyzing James Ogden's iconic foundational work on fly-tying
Illustrated throughout with monochrome fine line drawings.
