ABOUT
The story and history of a New Zealand sheep and cattle farm in the hills of Southern Hawkes Bay.
It tells how the farm Rangiwiu was created from the three rough bush sections that in themselves were not viable farms.
Wilfred Poulton writes about his time at the farm and his family. The author was born at Rangiwiu in 1926 and spent his childhood and the greater part of his working life there. In 1954 he married Susan Bolton, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Bolton of Woodville, and they have five children. They both retired to Woodville in 1989.
The third generation, Mr and Mrs T. W. Poulton (Tim and Annie) now run the farm
