ABOUT
Moto-Cross is one of the most popular forms of motorcycling sport, attracting large followings of scrambles enthusiasts in many countries.
In this book one of its best-known British exponents provides a complete introduction to the sport and invaluable advice to beginners, based on his own fifteen years of scrambles experience.
Every aspect of the "rough riding" game is covered: machine preparation, riding position, transport, protective clothing, and how the sport is organised and regulated. The various types of moto-cross machines are examined, a typical circuit, and the best approach to its various hazards, is studied in detail, Continental racing is reviewed and there is a final chapter recalling the eventful history of the Moto-Cross des Nations-the Blue Riband of the scrambles world.
