British WWII submarine memoir.
The author began the war in HMS Parthian before moving with her to the Mediterranean. In 1941 he transferred to Tempest which was lost on her maiden patrol in 1942. The last section deals with his escape from captivity in Italy.
Illustrated throughout with monochrome images, includes excellent plates of the interior of Parthian.
CONDITION
Immaculate original condition for age, light wear/repairs on dust jacket, binding tight, pages clean, light foxing inside end papers. Images depict all need to know detail.
