The formal investigation into the TEV Wahine maritime disaster in April 1968 at Wellington.
On 10th April 1968, the Lyttleton ferry T.E.V Wahine sank at the entrance to Wellington Harbour with the loss of 53 lives in one of the strongest storms ever recorded in New Zealand.
This inquiry was ordered by Hon. W. J. Scott, Minister of Marine, and held at Wellington 25 June-1 August 1968.
