a commemorative historical booklet for the 75th Anniversary Celebrations 1888 – 1963 of the Tirau School, which took place over the weekend of Friday to Sunday, June 7, 8, and 9, 1963.
Tīrau School is a primary school located in the small rural town of Tīrau in the Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island.
This souvenir was published by the school's jubilee committee to mark 75 years of continuous primary education in the district. It serves as an archive documenting local family names, registration rolls from 1888 onwards, lists of historical headmasters, and anecdotes of rural school life through the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Tīrau School remains active today, continuing to serve the local farming and township community.
