Chronicles the local church history of the Anglican community in Hamilton from its early mid-19th-century missionary roots through its growth into the mid-20th century. It was published closely in conjunction with the Cathedral Church of St. Peter (St. Peter's Cathedral) in Hamilton.
H.C.M. "Car" Norris (1893–1980) was a prominent Hamilton lawyer, a dedicated Anglican layman, and an amateur historian.

Includes a loose newspaper cutting.
