ABOUT
Recaps the founding of The Dominion and The Evening Post newspapers in Wellington.
The way they wrote and reflected major events and changes in nations and society. In many ways the story told is one tracing the history of Wellington and New Zealand, from tiny settlement and fledgling colony to modern city and mature, Westernised nation.
In text, pictures and cartoons, this book provides both a nostalgic trip down memory lane and a tribute to the talented people who devoted their lives to newspapers. It captures 150 years of news, a wonderful record of our community and the part the newspapers played in its birth, growth and maturity. It is a record to be proud of.
Illustrated throughout with monochrome and colour images.
