ABOUT
This is the earliest recorded voyage by Western man, one of our most ancient and captivating sagas.
Is it mere legend, or is it based on fact? myth or history? The skeptics who claim it is fiction point out it would be physically impossible for a Bronze Age vessel like the famed Argo to navigate the 1500 perilous sea miles of Jason's voyage from the North Aegean to the Black Sea (Soviet Georgia) kingdom of King Aeetes and his daughter Medea.
This is the amazing story of Severin' reenactment of Jason's odyssey, an extraordinary expedition into our past, a thrilling National Geographic sponsored seafaring adventure studded with brilliant historical detective work.
Includes colour images, illustrations and maps.
Illustrated end papers.
CONDITION
As new with only light shelf wear on jacket and faint marks on end papers. Images depict all need to know detail.
