ABOUT
Signed by the author.
Commemorating the centenary jubilee of the prominent Anglican parish.
Provides a well-informed account of the vicars, church leaders, and social context that shaped the parish over its first 100 years. It charts the journey of St. Mary's from a small, local wooden church built in 1860 into the pro-cathedral and central hub of the Anglican Diocese of Auckland.
Was published at a transitional moment in the parish’s history, shortly after the foundation stone for the neighboring Holy Trinity Cathedral was laid in 1957
Illustrated throughout with monochrome images.
