Lord Beaverbrook was appointed Minister of Aircraft Production in May 1940, and held the post until May 1941.
This is an account of his year at the M.A.P. and the author describes how Lord Beaverbrook reorganized the aircraft industry, ironed out bottlenecks, and reduced the manufacture of aircraft types to five, and ends by giving an account of how he began the "Spitfire Fund" campaign.
