Through the depression as a horse breaker, singer, newspaper reporter, as a RNZAF pilot in Malta, the Middle East and Scandinavia. Later he became a newspaper cartoonist and commercial artist starting his own agency, all told with great humour.
Illustrated throughout with fine line drawings by the author.
Includes various newspaper cuttings.
