It follows their subsequent marriages, generations of descendants, and farming lives in the Gisborne and Wairoa districts, including geographical landmarks named after them, such as Traffords Hill in the Waioeka Gorge.
Written by the Te Araroa-based nurse, educator, and historian Vivienne May McConnell (née Hovell, 1928–2008).
