ABOUT
Documents Piver’s groundbreaking 1960 voyage across the Atlantic Ocean from Massachusetts to England aboard the Nimble, a 30-foot plywood trimaran of his own design.
Arthur Piver played a massive role in making multi-hull sailing mainstream during the late 1950s and 1960s. By selling affordable, "do-it-yourself" blueprints through his company Pi-Craft, he sparked a global backyard boatbuilding craze.
Illustrated throughout with monochrome images and cross-section drawings.
