This is a modern reproduction of a vintage poster from 1907 New Zealand that would look fantastic framed.
Popular sports came to be regarded as spectacular entertainment, and posters for them were set out like theatre notices. Boxing associations were officially recognised after 1902 and the first professional fight took place in 1902.
