The envelope was completely non-recyclable, not to mention hard to get into, and the plastic 'envelope' with the invoice could have been tucked into the book, thus doing a bit to help the environment (and saving you money along the way)!
UBS: Thanks but sorry we don't concur.... in the business of bookselling:
#1. You paid $3.57 for a tracked courier - yet non tracked standard postage is $4.50, and we do not take risks on untracked items that have a nasty habit of going missing.
#2. The envelope is paper but the tape is to protect the book from rain and damage (we hardly ever use bubble wrap) - without this protection our damaged shipments become frequent.
#3. The invoice also serves as the delivery address/phone number but in this instance it could have been saved.

CUSTOMER: Your price seems very high compared to these on Book Depository?
UBS: You are comparing a 111 year old antique book in cloth board covers, to a new facsimile reprint in paperback.......
CUSTOMER: Yes that's right - it's prime function as a book is to be read not admired for its age. Plus the newer copy will be in far better condition than yours. Righto - how about the Book Depository price of $33.26 reduced by whatever your shipping charge is (BD do not charge for shipping) - so less say $10 and you get $23.36?
UBS: Sorry, we are rare and antique book dealers, we are not BD or Amazon.... if you only want to pay the new paperback prices then buy from BD.
CUSTOMER: OK will do so. But I cannot as they will not sell to Kiwis due to overseas supply. You were given an opportunity for a sale and clearly did not want to do so. You claim to be dealers in such items is clearly nonsense - you people are used book dealers in crappy old books and nothing else.
